ASSOCIATION FOR COACHING
The Association for Coaching was founded in 2002. The Centre for Coaching, International Academy for Professional Development is an organisational member. The Association has a Register of Members and a list of qualified coaches. The Association runs training and networking events and publishes a newsletter and journal. Our centre runs the Advanced Diploma in Coaching which is an Association for Coaching Accredited Diploma in Coach Training which provides sufficient training for foundation coach accreditation.
ASSOCIATION FOR RATIONAL EMOTIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY
AREBT is the professional body for Rational-emotive and Rational emotive behaviour therapists, counsellors, coaches and practitioners in the United Kingdom and beyond. Its aims are:
1. To promote and develop the science of RET/REBT at all levels.
2. To develop and maintain nationally recognised standards.
3. To provide information and advice.
The benefits for membership are professional qualifications, accredited status, a journal, continual professional development and entry on a National Register for RET/REBT therapists and counsellors. AREBT approves the REBT programmes at the UK Centre for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Faculty of Cognitive Behavioural & Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and the Centre for Stress Management.
BRITISH PSYCHOLOGICAL SOCIETY
The British Psychological Society is the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK. It has national responsibility for the development, promotion and application of psychology for the public good, and promotes the efficiency and usefulness of its members by maintaining a high standard of professional education and knowledge. The Centre’s courses are: Approved by the British Psychological Society Learning Centre for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR COACHING PSYCHOLOGY
This is the leading international body for the coaching psychology field. It is an international professional membership body established to further the discipline and profession of coaching psychology. The Centre has achieved Approved Centre Status with the Society therefore our courses are recognised by the Society.

INSTITUTE OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
The Institute of Leadership and Management (TILM) is a leading professional body. Join their unique learning experience, access 1000’s of leadership resources, and become a professional. In 2019, TILM are launching a new coach accreditation system.
By attending our TILM Development Programmes, our Learners become eligible to join the Institute of Leadership and Management at Associate and Full Member levels. Successful completion of the 5-day Coaching Development Programme or the 5-day Psychological Coaching Programme provides eligibility at Associate Membership Level of the Institute of Leadership and Management (subject to completion of the administrative forms). Successful completion of both programmes provides eligibility of the Institute at Full Membership level.
INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTS
Objectives: To encourage management excellence and specialist expertise; To help members achieve their personal aspirations, fulfil their career ambitions and develop their innate potential; To support lifelong learning and encourage education in management and specialist areas; To give professional recognition to the knowledge and skills of managers and specialists. Membership Applicants will be assessed on their Education, Training, Knowledge, Skill and Experience (K.S.E.) and responsibility. Due consideration will be given to those who are qualified only by practical experience. There are many people who, through no fault of their own, have not had the opportunity to gain academic qualifications during their careers. These people may also apply for membership based on their own individual merits, practical experience and position. The IMS recognises the Certificate in Professional Development programmes run by the Centre and International Academy (a Recognised Training Provider).

NATIONAL REGISTER OF ADVANCED HYPNOTHERAPISTS
The Centre for Stress Management and Centre for Coaching are affiliated to the NRAH. The NRAH holds a Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists. The NRAH is an accrediting member of the United Kingdom Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO). The NRAH recognises the courses run by the Centres as being suitable for the CPD of their members.

INTERNATIONAL STRESS MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (ISMA)
ISMA Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in stress management and is able to demonstrate evidence of the experience and qualifications required for the grade of membership for which they apply. ISMA recognises the Centre for Stress Management, Primary Certificate in Stress Management and higher programmes as providing eligibility for professional membership. ISMA is the leading professional body for stress management in the UK. It has branches in many countries.
INSTITUTE OF HEALTH PROMOTION AND EDUCATION
The Centre for Stress Management is a Corporate Member of the IHPE. The Centre recommends that students on the stress management programme may benefit from joining the Institute.
